Job Description

Purpose of Position

The Executive Briefing Center Director/VP is a highly visible role responsible for the in-development Teleperformance Executive Briefing Center (EBC), located in Santa Clara.  This role reports into the EVP Marketing and will be responsible for creating an innovative and engaging customer experience in this new facility that demonstrates Teleperformance’s High Tech High Touch service capabilities.

The Director will be responsible for creating an all new briefing center experience. This role requires strong leadership, an understanding of sales, as well as experiential design experience. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, capable of driving change, experienced in working with leadership, and has managed or refreshed a previous customer experience center. The candidate will collaborate with marketing, sales, operations, and third-party agencies to create a dynamic, engaging customer experience helping to accelerate sales. The indivitual will be responsible for landing the brand experience and developing trusted relationships with executives, account teams and presenters. The position requires strong analytical, and organizational skills and the ability to work with subject matter experts (SME’s) across the organization to create engaging and targeted tracks to make the EBC an in-demand destination.

Primary Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements

•        Overall meeting management: including gathering all pertinent details about EBC Engagements, details about the attendees, meeting objectives all in accordance with the overall account plan and long-term objectives of the relationship.

•        Content Development Support: Partner with the sales, solution engineering, training, operations, global marketing/R&D, and key marketing stakeholders to develop core tracks that can then be customized based on the customer meeting.

•        Speaker Recruitment & Scheduling: Proactively suggest, secure and schedule executive speakers and SME’s to support the meeting agenda and objectives.  Manage a core pool of speakers on an ongoing basis.

•        Logistics & Hosting: Manage all logistical details associated with EBC meetings, including scheduling, room set-up, speaker support catering, and other details to be determined. Manage local tours and dinner reservations for attendees that plan extended stays in the area.

•        Operations: Develop an ongoing measurement system to gauge the effectiveness of the EBC program and identify areas of improvement for the program itself and the facility.

•        Become the primary point of contact for securing customer references from engagements at the EBC.

•        Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements


•        Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

•        Strong background in events and meeting management with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a part of an EBC management team.

•        Experience in content development and speaker management.

•        Sales support experience with strong understanding of purchasing lifecycle.

•        Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Word and Excel.  Keynote preferred.

•        Strong written and verbal skills and a minimum of 2 years’ experience with executive engagement.

•        Detail oriented and an effective communicator.

•        Ability to work collaboratively with sales, account management, client services and executives

•        Sound reasoning ability with strong problem solving skills

•        Be self-motivated, highly organized and detail oriented

•        Energetic and productive under stressful deadlines.
