Our call center representatives are a very important part of our family. You will be the eyes and ears for our American Eagle Outfitters team, fielding customer inquiries and finding innovative ways to respond. Working in a collaborative and engaging environment, you will have the chance to interact with people from all walks of life and no two days will be the same. As you continue to grow and challenge yourself, you will discover your potential can take you anywhere you want to go.

Your Responsibilities

• Handle and carefully respond to all customer inquiries
• Drive brand loyalty through expertise in AEO products and programs
• Be open and attentive to all customers' individual style
• Provide efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable service through active listening
• Work with confidential customer information and treat it sensitively
• Follow up to customer inquiries by taking specific action in a timely manner
• Aim to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive
• Appropriately communicate with customers via phone, chat, and email
• To role model AEO values and AEO Customer First behaviors

What We're Looking for

• 6 months of prior customer service experience or retail experience
• Over 18 years of age
• Ability to type 30 wpm
• High School Graduate or GED
• Availability to work various shifts
• Proficiency with desktop computer system and internet skills
• Proven oral & written communication skills
• Understanding of the way the current AEO target market speaks and current fashion trends
• Understanding of mobile apps and social media platforms

What We Prefer

• Logical problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
• Organization and work prioritization skills
• Experience as an AEO customer, especially with the AE and Aerie apps is a PLUS!
• Passion for fashion is a PLUS!
