Human Resources Manager

To provide Human Resources support for the facility.  Act as a liaison between the employee and other

support departments as it pertains to Payroll, Benefits, etc.  Represent the company for unemployment

claims, EEOC investigations and other employment agency inquiries. Managing HR Transformation

projects and HR related initiatives.


Job Requirements

Primary Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements:

Experience working with multiple locations or a large workforce preferred

Relevant work experience at the HR manager level required

Drive Corporate Initiatives regarding Great Place to Work, Employee Satisfaction Surveys, and other turnover reducing initiatives.

•         Manage the day to day HR Department including guiding the HR Coordinators and ensure they are meeting all metrics, trainings are being conducted, and resolve any escalated items.

•         Conduct complex investigations including Sexual Harassment, Fraud, and investigate employee complaints as needed through tor resolution.

•         Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.

•         Manage new hire orientation process and all on-boarding responsibilities for the facility.

•         Provide leadership and support to managers and employees in the areas of performance counseling, employee retention, policy interpretation and implementation, conflict resolution, legal/contractual requirements, and managing cultural integration.

•         Function as a trusted advisor to managers and supervisors in coaching them on successful problem/conflict resolution and performance.

•         Assist with the investigation and gathering of documentation for all EEOC claims (or other legal issues).

•         Prepare documentation for all Unemployment Appeal Claims and attend corresponding hearings.

•         Recommend new approaches, policies, and process improvement to ensure company and department efficiency.

•         Keep abreast of legislation affecting human resources and recommend relevant process/handbook policies.
