Job Description

Purpose of Position

Primarily responsible for assisting the recruiting and operations teams in ordering state background checks, applying for state licenses, and all processes regarding follow up and reporting

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works with new employees—explaining, assisting, and collecting documents surrounding the licensing process
  • Responsible for all follow up with third and internal parties—state background checks, home state licensing, statuses, follow up, and completion of activities
  • Ability to analyze potential risks in providing supporting documentation and/or external issues
  • Acts with high level of discretion, professionalism, and high sense of urgency
  • Remains apprised of state level licensing updates including continuing education requirements
  • Acts proactively, providing high level communication to internal teams regarding statuses and provides solutions to licensing issues
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Critical thinking, proactive attitude, strong communication skills
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented
  • Must be extremely articulate and present a professional image
  • Advanced experience with standard business applications especially MS Office suite
  • Strong team-building and leadership skills focused and results oriented
  • Participates in additional training courses when needed
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year administration experience within the last 3 years
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Logical problem solving skills
  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Continuously demonstrate a high sense of urgency
  • Knowledge of licensing processes, continuing education requirements, and background check requirements recommended
  • Relationship management experience recommended
  • Must have a keen sense of attention to detail, taking the initiative, and meet high pressure deadlines
  • Must type at least 40 wpm
  • Must have HS diploma—college experience preferred
  • Able to pass federal background check and drug screen
  • At least 3 months customer service experience in a high volume customer service position
  • Must be able to obtain Texas Notary Credentials and Texas Fingerprint Certification
