Job Description

Provide professional, dedicated support for legal department in relation to human resource matters, legal compliance, litigation, claims investigations and a wide variety of related corporate legal assignments. 


PRIMARY DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS 


 Support all aspects of legal claim and litigation defense matters including, but not limited to investigations, document management, litigation support, pleadings drafting and review, and review of legal bills.  Research, develop and support compliance efforts in relation to policies and procedures for ADA, ADEA, DOL, EEOC, FCRA, FMLA, NLRB, worker’s compensation, and other employment related laws and regulations.  Research, develop, and support compliance efforts in relation to corporate policies.  Research and monitor laws and legislation relating to a broad range of corporate client industries.  Participate as a value-adding member of the Teleperformance management team.  Through demonstrated individual performance, promote the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct.  Thrive as a team player in a fast-paced, high-energy, change-oriented environment.  Perform other related duties and assignments as required and as assigned. 


Job Requirements



EXPERIENCE / SKILLS 


 At least three years of relevant experience in a broad range of corporate legal areas including employment policies and claims, benefit claims, litigation and general corporate policies.  Superior oral and written communication skills, as well as professional interpersonal skills.  Excellent organizational and calendaring capabilities.  Ability to coordinate and accomplish a variety of tasks and assignments simultaneously.  Strong legal document drafting and proofreading skills; attention to detail.   Ability to identify and address legal implications of policies and practices.  Ability to work in a team environment and with all levels of employees.  Proficiency in computer legal research.  Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and other programs.  Ability to maintain confidentiality of information. 


EDUCATION 


Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.  Paralegal Certificate preferred.
