The Pre-Licensure Trainers will prepare the selected new hires to be able to successfully take their health insurance license testing (state mandated) prior to starting their actual new hire training.

Do you have sales or insurance industry experience? Then this Trainer position may be right for you. As a Pre-Licensure Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering valuable licensure preparation training to potential new agents, setting them up to successfully pass their State of Ohio life and health insurance license testing. This will be a fast-paced facilitated training focused on the State testing.


  • Train your classes proficiently and professionally while meeting specific quality expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, interpersonal skills, interaction, problem solving and multi-tasking skills required.
  • Able to provide a multimodal training program, including classroom instruction, computer-based lessons, and instructor-led activities.
  • Requires efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Must be enthusiastic and comfortable in front of groups of people (smaller class sizes: 10-15+).
  • Trainers are expected to meet TP’s established standards for performance and conduct, demonstrating consistent, reliable attendance and showing up for work with a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
  • Compliance to all Teleperformance and client Security policies, HR and Operations procedures, etc., including maintaining confidentiality in our secure environment.
  • Assess participant and class performance, as well as being able to coach employees one on one and demonstrate patience with all types of learners. 
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
  • Through demonstrated individual performance, promote the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct in dealing with Teleperformance employees, vendors, customers and the community.
  • Computer experience within Windows environment as well as ability to navigate the internet, utilize computer shortcut functions, and navigate through multiple program platforms.

Job Requirements


  • Previous sales and/or insurance experience, preferred in a call center environment.
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office products including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability in classroom leadership, classroom management, classroom organization.


  • 1-2 years of training experience.
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of Adult Learning Principles.
