Job Description


  • Prepare provisions, deferred tax calculations and assist in the related financial reporting.
  • Conduct federal and state tax research and draft/review memorandum to support tax return filing positions and special projects as required.
  • Prepare and review sales tax and other non-income tax returns.
  • Provide audit support and draft responses to tax authority inquiries.
  • Act as a liaison between the tax department and internal or external tax compliance resources and outside advisers.
  • Assist Tax Manager with information requests from other departments and participate in special projects.
  • Experience with OneSource Tax Provision and OneSource Income Tax helpful.
  • Experience with varied reporting software (SAP, Business Objects, COGNOS) helpful.
  • Inter-company relations and reconciliation experience
  • Light administrative work and support for CFO and Tax Manager
  • Experience with Balance Sheet/Income Statement analysis.
  • Create, review and analyze critical monthly and annual financial reports and spreadsheets
  • Work closely with finance and accounting team to ensure accurate reporting of financial data.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • CPA/Master’s degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of tax experience required
  • Income tax return preparation and review skills needed
  • Non-income tax return preparation and review skills preferred, i.e. sales tax, VAT
  • Tax provision and reporting skills preferred
  • OneSource Tax Provision and OneSource Income Tax experience helpful
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Excellent service skills (timeliness of delivery and quality)
  • Experience with Microsoft based technologies
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written, with all levels of staff and management
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Willingness to proactively address ideas and propose alternatives with the purpose of providing and receiving constructive feedback
  • Sound reasoning ability together with strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to view a computer monitor for several hours at a time
  • Pass mandatory background checks which may include pre-screenings, illegal drug tests, and credit checks
  • Government Reporting experience a plus
