Job Description

Purpose of Position Responsible for training adherence to curriculum, attendance to Humana training meetings, coordination of training related tasks, and training tracking for all Medicare & Retirement training procedures and reporting. Ensure trainers are focused solely on the delivery of training (delivery, co-training, observing, training preparation, and training coaching).

Job Requirements

Primary Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements   

·       Provide support related to training, scheduling training events.

·       Ensure employees are kept abreast of training requirements.

·       Accountable for ensuring trainers are completing all required tracking (Performance Tracker, Learning Facilitation Tracker, Comprehensive Tracker, and Post Training Survey Tracker).

·       Is the primary site-level training contact between Vendor and Medicare & Retirement.

·       Complete certification courses.

·       Successfully complete training for role in which he/she is responsible

·       Conduct training change management.

·       Provide training coaching to Trainers and Training Coaches.

·       Coordinate post-training Level 1 survey reporting.

·       Ensure the maximum effectiveness of staff by implementing training programs.

·       Monitor and report on the effectiveness of training programs and implement remediation programs.

·       Successfully complete Medicare & Retirement Train the Trainer (T3).

·       Accountable for ensuring trainers are adhering to the agent and/or representative training schedule and curriculum.

·       Accountable for ensuring Trainers are completing all appropriate pre-season preparation and course work as defined by  Medicare & Retirement training organization.

·       Perform other related duties and assignments as required and as assigned by supervisor or manager.

·       Thrive as a team player in a fast-paced, high-energy, change-oriented environment.



·       2 years of Training experience (preferably in a Contact Center)

·       Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office products to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

·       Strong oral and written communication skills

·       Demonstrated ability in classroom leadership, classroom management, classroom organization.

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·       No corrective actions issued within the last 6 months (applicable to internal applicants only)

·       Understanding of Adult Learning Principles

·       Must be able to work a flexible schedule

·       Through demonstrated individual performance, promotes the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct in dealing with employees, vendors, customers and the community
